Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of agentic AI systems and autonomous operational workflows in Python.
• Embed directly with mission teams to identify operational bottlenecks and deliver safe, production-grade AI tools.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring engineers and establishing robust evaluation and review standards for AI-generated code.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Total Compensation: $320k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Architect and implement agentic systems in Python integrating LLMs, MCP servers, skills, and subagents with enterprise data sources.
• Design guardrails for autonomous agents, incorporating scoped permissions, human approval gates, and comprehensive audit logging.
• Construct rigorous evaluation suites with operational users to measure AI capability accuracy, reliability, and edge-case behavior.
• Evaluate emerging frontier and open-weight models, frameworks, and design patterns to brief technical leadership on tradeoffs.
• Integrate AI coding assistants into daily software engineering workflows while enforcing strict review and validation standards.
• Mentor engineering teammates through technical design discussions, code reviews, and hands-on pairing.
• Utilize Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Atlassian tools to support reliable deployment and project tracking.
