Job Description

Role Summary
This person will design, build, and deploy the Teamcenter data model and integrations required to manage CAM and CAI programs as controlled digital objects. The environment includes NX CAM, Vericut, Third Wave Systems, InnovMetric PolyWorks, Teamcenter, DNC delivery, post-processors, tooling libraries, machine models, and inspection-result return.
The defining requirement is the combination of deep Teamcenter configuration experience and genuine CAM and machining knowledge.
Core Responsibilities
• Configure NX CAM environments, templates, machine models, tooling libraries, and cutting-data libraries.
• Develop and verify post-processors against physical machines.
• Configure CAM-to-model associativity in Teamcenter.
• Manage CAM and CAI programs as revision-controlled Teamcenter objects.
• Implement post-processing and DNC delivery inside Teamcenter.
• Integrate Vericut and manage simulation results.
• Integrate Third Wave Systems and return optimized parameters to CAM.
• Integrate PolyWorks and return inspection results with characteristic and revision identity preserved.
• Configure Teamcenter business objects, item types, datasets, relations, revision rules, workflows, statuses, and access rules.
• Migrate manufacturing assets from file shares and local systems into Teamcenter.
• Gather requirements from programmers, machinists, manufacturing engineers, and metrology personnel.
• Produce configuration documentation, work instructions, and user training.
Must-Haves
• 8+ years of Teamcenter implementation, configuration, and integration experience.
• Teamcenter data-model configuration, including objects, datasets, relations, revision rules, workflows, release behavior, and access rules.
• NX CAM implementation and environment-configuration experience.
• Machine models, kinematics, tooling libraries, and post-processor development.
• Vericut implementation and PLM integration.
• Machining-process optimization integration, ideally Third Wave Systems.
• InnovMetric PolyWorks integration.
• Working machining knowledge.
• GD&T knowledge under ASME Y14.5.
• Model-based inspection knowledge.
• Requirements gathering and configuration-design documentation.
• Legacy manufacturing-asset migration experience.
• Ability to work regularly on site in Costa Mesa.
• U.S. Person status.
Preferred Background
• Teamcenter Manufacturing, Shop Floor Connect, or Teamcenter Quality.
• QIF or ISO 23952.
• Forge, Siemens Opcenter, or Solumina/iBase-t.
• NX staged modeling.
• NSE MBE Maturity Index.
• MIL-STD-31000 and AS9102.
• Shipbuilding, submarine, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing.
• NX Open scripting.
• Greenfield PLM and CAM implementation.
