Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ECS Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions (ECS). This role requires a detailed-oriented individual who can effectively identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats across our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security events using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to implement security controls and educate staff on security best practices.
• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and application security.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS SEC540.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).
