Overview

Decision Point Corporation is seeking a Senior Security Threat Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This role involves analyzing and mitigating security threats to our critical infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive threat assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Develop and implement security strategies to protect against cyber threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system security and compliance
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior security team members
• Stay current with emerging security threats and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and threat analysis
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
• Strong understanding of network security and cryptographic protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Previous experience in a government contracting environment
