Ability to convert after 12 months
*Average contract duration on program is 2 years, consistent conversions.
Working Hours: Standard MST
Must have a STEM degree.
Start Date: As soon as 3 weeks of offer
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience within Electrical Engineering experience within the following; (Master's Degree accounts for 2 years of experience)
Experience within Interface Control Electrical Engineering (circuitry design, control systems, PLC programming, signal processing, etc.)
Familiarity with Interface Control Documents (ICD's) or ownership of the document
Experience with integrated requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables with system engineering principles
Familiarity of Acquisition Documents and/or DAU standard documenting
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Active Top Secret and SAP eligible (potential flex to Secret)
Ability to sit on site at Hill AFB daily (located in Clearfield, UT)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Any ICBM or RS/RV experience
- Any experience with AFOTEC or related organization of the DoD
-Any experience with DoE National Laboratories or related organizations (Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, Sandi, etc.)
- Active TSSCI Clearance
- Previous SAP Clearance
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Interface Controls Electrical Engineer to join one of their top defense clients at Hill Air Force Base supporting a large defensive weaponry program. Currently, this program is in Pre-Milestone A and are preparing various acquisition documents for the customer to establish the baseline of this program as it prepares for Milestone A. This individual will provide their expertise within Electrical Engineering to serve as the liaison between various other partners on the program including the Department of Energy, Lead Project Officer Groups, and other executives on a regular basis. Additionally, they will provide analysis for complex requirements, specification documents, designs, architectures, and engineering proposals for the customer in relation to the overall program. As the acquisition documents become solidified for the programs foundation, this individual will be seen as a subject matter expert of Electrical Engineering to provide oversight of tests being performed, validating the data received from tests, and reviewing analysis created by this data for the customer to make business decisions.
