Position : Cleared Software Systems Test Engineer
Location: Hill AFB - Clearfield, Utah
Duration: Ongoing Contract (program has 18 years left)
Ability to convert after 12 months
*Average contract duration on program is 2 years, consistent conversions.
Working Hours: Standard MST
Must have a STEM degree.
Start Date: As soon as 3 weeks of offer
Interview: 1 round – virtual 60 minute interview
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience with systems or software engineering (Master's Degree accounts for 2 years of experience)
o Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts with CAMEO, SysML, Rhapsody, etc...)
o Experience with Software Testing or Software QA
o Ability to code in and understand at least one scripting language (ideally C++)
o Experience with software traceability to the system level
o Experience tracking and evaluating program progress
* Bachelor's Degree in STEM
* Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SAP and TS
* Ability to sit on site at Hill AFB daily
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Familiarity with software coding standards
* Familiarity/experience with DevSecOps
* Master's Degree
* Active TS Clearance
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Software Systems Test Engineer to join one of their top defense clients at Hill Air Force Base supporting a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be responsible for acting as the technical liaison and action officer to support collaboration between the Project Management Office Software Division, the prime contractor and external stakeholders. These individuals will be reviewing requirements, specification documents, processes, plans, guides and reports, as well as coordinate with other teams and stakeholders in the development and evaluation of software systems engineering requirements related to the overall large program. They will learn and apply innovative Model Based Systems Engineering approaches to Software Acquisition and Development. This group will be responsible for taking the software development by the Prime, reviewing code, creating traceability, and deploying code into the DevSecOps pipeline for deployments.
