Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a NOC Technician to sit fully onsite at Scott AFB, or Hill AFB. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day network operations within a mission-critical environment, including the configuration, monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of customer circuits across optical transport systems, multiplexers, routers, and switches. They will perform real-time circuit restoration and alternate routing during planned and unplanned outages to maintain customer connectivity and minimize operational impact. Responsibilities include proactively monitoring network performance and alarms, executing hardware and software changes, managing service-impacting incidents, and documenting all troubleshooting and resolution activities. The position works closely with internal teams, government agencies, and customers to ensure maximum network availability while assessing and resolving complex issues.
