Job Description
Insight Global is actively hiring a Cyber Intel Analyst to join our team supporting a large DoD Program at Fort Meade, Maryland.
This opening is for a Monday - Thursday 2100 - 0700 position
The selected candidate will provide network operations and defensive cyber operations support to the United States Cyber Command in support of the DoD and enhance situational awareness, situational understanding, and identify possible relationships, trends, and adversary TTPs based on threat intelligence information. A basic understanding defensive cyber operations and use of tools such as wireshark, splunk, IDS/IPS, packet capture, etc. will be critical for this role.
Minimum job requirements include:
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of prior relevant experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
• DoDD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (SEC+, CySA, GICSD, etc.)
• Strong background in identifying TTP's, APT's and Threat Actors
• Basic understanding of IDS/IPS, Threat hunting tools, packet capture tools, etc.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD
Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this role so exact pay will vary based on a number of factors including, total years of experience, depth of knowledge, clearance level, certifications; among many other factors. However, we anticipate paying 120K - 130K for this opening.
