Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead testing and quality assurance operations for a cloud-based geospatial data lake and its core components.
• Plan, develop, and execute integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across ingestion pipelines, APIs, and GIS integrations.
• Triage defects, verify fixes, and track issues to resolution utilizing AWS, Git, and Jira.
• Validate geospatial data integrity, spatial queries, and REST data services to ensure mission readiness.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Required Certifications: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional or Specialty
• Total Compensation: $391k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and traceability matrices mapped to user stories across data lake layers.
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects in Jira, collaborating directly with developers and stakeholders through resolution.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) events, serving as the user advocate within the cloud development team.
• Validate geospatial data quality, spatial queries, coordinate reference systems, and REST API correctness, error handling, and performance.
• Maintain user guides, release notes, test reports, and data dictionaries to support release approvals and system accreditation.
• Utilize automated and manual test tooling, including Python, SQL, Playwright, and Selenium, to support continuous test execution.
