Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead test and quality assurance efforts for a cloud-based geospatial data lake and its integrated components.
• Plan and execute integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing across ingestion pipelines, APIs, and GIS clients.
• Validate geospatial data integrity and system functionality using SQL, API testing tools, and AWS services.
• Triage and manage defects through resolution using Jira, collaborating closely with developers and end users.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Required Certifications: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional or Specialty
• Total Compensation: $391k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, test cases, and traceability matrices mapped to user stories.
• Perform integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across data ingestion, storage, REST APIs, and GIS client layers.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, serving as a key advocate for end users.
• Validate geospatial data quality, including geometry validity, coordinate reference systems, projections, and spatial query accuracy.
• Test RESTful APIs and data services for functional correctness, error handling, performance, and security controls.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects using Jira and defect management tools, verifying fixes and reporting release readiness.
• Maintain data dictionaries, release notes, user guides, and test documentation to support system accreditation and release approvals.
• Collaborate within AWS cloud environments utilizing services such as Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, and Aurora PostgreSQL.

This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement with up to 30% remote work.
