Location: Hanover, MD (Onsite)
Security Clearance: Active Top-Secret
We question. We listen. We adapt.
Be honest. Be pragmatic.
Omni Federal , founded in 2017 and headquartered in Washington, DC, is a highly specialized software solutions provider with a robust presence in key locations across the United States, including Boston, MA, Colorado Springs, CO, San Antonio, TX, and St. Louis, MO. Born out of the Department of Defense's software factory ecosystem, Omni has rapidly distinguished itself by delivering both mission-critical and enterprise solutions that enhance the technological capabilities of the federal government. With a focus on areas such as Command and Control, Cybersecurity, Space, Geospatial, and Modeling & Simulation, Omni leverages cutting-edge commercial technology tailored to government objectives, improving mission performance and delivering transformative outcomes for the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and their end-users. The company's innovative approach is backed by its Omni Labs and SBIR Innovation centers, where they develop advanced platforms and tools in data mesh, secure connectivity, and intelligent automation.
Why Omni?
We are seeking an experienced ISSO to support our Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) managed service provider contract. This mid-level role calls for a highly autonomous, TOP SECRET-cleared cybersecurity professional who will serve as the cybersecurity point of contact and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for key information systems within cleared environments.
You will help protect systems that support national security programs. You'll own the security posture of your assigned systems from authorization through ongoing operations, making sure they stay compliant, monitored, and ready for assessment.
You will drive Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities end to end for your assigned systems, design and implement continuous monitoring plans, and run vulnerability management from identification through remediation, tracking every finding in POA&Ms. You'll also be the go-to voice for system security reporting, keeping the ISO, ISSM, and customer leadership informed with clear, accurate, timely communication.
This role involves significant independent interaction with clients and stakeholders, including end customers and application development teams. You'll serve as a senior escalation point, trusted to manage multiple systems and competing priorities at once, keep security work moving without close direction, and turn stakeholder challenges into practical solutions. Customer service and teamwork matters as much as technical depth.
This role is 50% to 100% on-site in Hanover, MD, working in SCIF environments as applicable to support mission priorities.
