Why Omni?

We are seeking a Cloud Integration Architect to support our Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) managed service provider contract. As a senior leader on the Navigator team, you will not perform hands-on keyboard development work. Instead, you will act as a consultative guide, identifying needs, process improvements, and actively assisting application teams with navigating the GovCloud environment to knock down walls and get their apps live.

This role will serve as the central coordination and communication lead supporting new applications/services/tenants onboarding to the AWS environment. You will coordinate with DSO, Cyber Security, Engineering, Ops and Monitoring, and Sustainment activities within an AWS Landing Zone environment.

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for driving alignment, maintaining visibility into progress and risks, and enabling successful outcomes through a disciplined, process-driven communication model. Crucially, this Level 3 Integrator will lead strategic initiatives to enhance the experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance (required)
  • Must be eligible for DCSA Personnel Assurance Program enrollment
  • CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 IAT Level II minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of relative experience
  • Highly Autonomous Operation: Demonstrated capability to operate fully independently as an escalation point, interacting directly with end customers, stakeholders, and application development teams to troubleshoot complex issues, integrate technical solutions, and provide strategic guidance.
  • Advanced hands-on experience supporting, integrating, and troubleshooting enterprise workloads in an AWS GovCloud environment.
  • Experience supporting government or DoD programs.
  • Thorough understanding of network traffic flow: including ports, protocols, firewalls, whitelisting, and security groups.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking topologies, subnets, and DNS.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain the cyber security RMF life-cycle and impacts it has on application teams trying to deploy to a production environment.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments (Engineering, PM, stakeholders, Cyber security, Ops & Monitoring).
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud environments (conceptual understanding), change management processes, and structured onboarding or integration workflows.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, Microsoft Suite, and Excel.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting AWS Landing Zone or large-scale cloud migration efforts.
  • Experience with process development, standardization, or operational frameworks.
  • Familiarity with risk management and escalation processes.
  • Experience working in high-visibility government-facing roles.
