Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in cryptographic systems, algorithms, and protocols. This role requires a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hash functions, digital signatures, and key management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate cryptographic solutions to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity.
• Provide expert guidance and support for the development and deployment of secure cryptographic systems.
• Conduct thorough cryptographic analysis and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into existing systems and applications.
• Stay current with emerging cryptographic technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on cryptographic concepts and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography and secure systems development.
• In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, SHA, PKI).
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools (e.g., OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle).
• Strong understanding of cryptographic key management and certificate management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
