Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and their practical applications in securing sensitive information and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Conduct cryptographic analysis and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations on cryptographic protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into existing systems and applications.
• Stay current with emerging cryptographic technologies and industry standards.
• Mentor and guide junior cryptographic professionals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cryptography, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography and information security.
• In-depth knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms, including AES, RSA, ECC, and Diffie-Hellman.
• Experience with cryptographic protocols such as TLS, IPsec, and SSH.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic key management and certificate management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
