Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required

Location Requirement: Must currently reside in Dayton, OH, or the surrounding areas.



Waypoint’s client is seeking an experienced Persistent Infrared (PIR/OPIR) Analyst to support Space and Missile (SpaM) intelligence production analysis for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center’s Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron (NASIC/GSP).



This position involves routine and advanced exploitation of processed PIR data, intelligence analysis and production, client engagement and support, and improvements to processed data and exploitation techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Space and Missile intelligence analysis and experience supporting OPIR-related missions.



Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time Space and Missile (SpaM) PIR analysis and exploitation support at NASIC.


• Conduct routine and advanced exploitation of processed Persistent Infrared (PIR) data.


• Support intelligence production analysis related to space and missile activities.


• Participate in tests, demonstrations, proof-of-concept exercises, and experiments related to new PIR exploitation techniques.


• Support client engagement and improvements to processed PIR data and exploitation methodologies.

Required:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.


• Must currently reside in Dayton, OH, or the surrounding areas.


• Ability to work full-time, on-site at NASIC in Dayton, OH.


• Comprehensive understanding of Space and Missile (SpaM) analysis and intelligence production.


• Effective writing and communication skills.

Desired:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.


• 7+ years of relevant Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) analysis experience.

Additional Information:

This position requires full-time, on-site support at NASIC in the Dayton, OH area. Candidates must already reside in Dayton or a surrounding community and possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
