Summary:
• Execute cyber threat hunting, defensive cyber operations, and data science analysis across cloud and Big Data platforms.
• Analyze diverse data feeds, conduct statistical modeling, and translate findings into intuitive visualizations and dashboards.
• Build automated capabilities and threat detection signatures to support operational cybersecurity workflows.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $226k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct threat hunt operations and defensive cyber operations on assigned Big Data platforms.
• Perform operational research, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation.
• Query and manipulate complex datasets using Python, SQL, and KQL.
• Build, deploy, and interpret threat detection signatures including SIGMA, Yara, and YAML.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing tools such as Power BI and Superset.
• Execute network traffic analysis using Wireshark, Zeek, and TCPDump to identify anomalous activity.
• Map cyber threats and incident response methodologies to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Evaluate data feeds for quality and relevance, establishing automated pipelines and capabilities.
• Define technical requirements, address operational gaps, and deliver technical demonstrations and training.
