Summary:
• Execute cyber threat hunting and defensive cyber operations to identify and mitigate sophisticated threat activity across enterprise environments.
• Apply data science, statistical analysis, and operational research to synthesize complex data streams into intuitive visualizations and actionable intelligence.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to define requirements, analyze operational gaps, and convert manual processes into automated cyber platform capabilities.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct cyber threat hunt operations across enterprise Big Data Platforms and multi-cloud environments.
• Present threat hunt findings and demonstrate analytical capabilities through interactive sessions for diverse audiences.
• Develop, deploy, and refine threat detection signatures using methodologies including SIGMA, YARA, and SNORT.
• Perform deep network traffic analysis utilizing tools such as Wireshark, Zeek, and TCPDump.
• Correlate, analyze, and monitor security telemetry across diverse SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Query and manipulate large-scale datasets using Python, SQL, and KQL to uncover hidden patterns and anomalies.
• Design and deliver intuitive dashboards and customer-facing visualizations using tools like Power-BI and Superset.
• Gather operational requirements, generate practical use cases, and deliver comprehensive platform training to end users.
