* Drive system architecture and design, including risk identification and mitigation
* Build and maintain a Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) in partnership with engineers and the customer
* Write test plans, test procedures, and training material
* Analyze systems to identify software, hardware, and interface issues, and drive resolution
* Document discrepancy reports with clear mitigation plans and deadlines

* Expert systems engineering knowledge across the full lifecycle: requirements, architecture and design, integration, test, transition, and sustainment
* Ability to develop and interpret complex technical requirements and tie them to systems engineering milestones
* Experience writing test plans, test procedures, and training material
* Comfort with agile development in a dynamic environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce clear, traceable technical documentation
* Proficiency with modern engineering tools, test environments, and secure computing systems
* Prior experience as a Systems Engineer on a research and development program with or for a large defense contractor is desired
Preferred Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI clearance
* Experience developing Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP)
* Experience producing formal technical review artifacts for SRR, PDR, and CDR/CDRR
* Experience with formal and informal test processes
* Experience writing CONOP documents

* Background in signal processing, geolocation, or SIGINT systems
Compensation and Benefits
* Base salary range: $175,000 to $205,000, based on education, experience, and expertise

* Company-paid life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance
* 16 days of PTO plus 10 paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's
* 9/80 style schedule with every other Friday off
