About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Scientist to turn complex business challenges into practical technical solutions. You’ll own work from requirements gathering through user acceptance testing. Expect hard technical problems that aren’t well defined, and a seat at the table when solutions are designed.
What You’ll Do
Assess business problems and recommend system-level solutions
Gather requirements with business and IT teams, including functionality, data inputs, outputs, and acceptance criteria
Evaluate existing processes and build new or improved methods, tools, and systems
Support testing, system controls, and user acceptance
Work with subject matter experts on technically complex solutions
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and project teams, and help shape design decisions and approaches
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

4+ years designing, running, and delivering data analyses in at least one of these areas:
Statistics: modeling, experimental design, sampling, clustering, data reduction, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and predictive modeling
Mathematics: big data, forecasting, optimization, inventory management, and supply chain analysis
Visualization: clear, decision-ready visuals for senior leaders using tools such as Tableau, ArcGIS, or R
AI/ML: building and running AI/ML algorithms and managing computational complexity
Strong SQL skills
Proven ability to work directly with clients
