Job Description
Shadowgate Partners is recruiting a Contracts Administrator for a client that has provided SIGINT and specialized communications systems to the Intelligence Community for more than 40 years.
This role suits someone with 3–5 years of experience who wants to own the full life cycle of federal contracts, from proposals and negotiation through performance management and closeout.
Base salary is $100k-$130k, based on education and experience, and is supported by an exceptionally
strong retirement and benefits package, including 100% paid for medical premiums. (see below).
What you’ll do:
- Administer contracts from pre-award through closeout
- Review, interpret and negotiate terms and conditions
- Review RFPs and coordinate compliant proposal submissions
- Monitor contract cost, schedule, performance and deliverables
- Work with program management, finance, government customers and prime contractors
Required
- 3–5 years of federal government contracting experience
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and IC agency supplements
- Full life-cycle contracts support experience
- Working knowledge of FFP, cost-reimbursement, T&M and IDIQ contracts
- Active TS with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
- Experience supporting prime contracts (subcontract-only experience also considered)
- Experience at a government contractor (federal employees also considered)
- Competitive proposal development experience
Benefits
- 25% employer 401(k) contribution, fully vested on day one. On a $100K base salary, the company puts $25K into your 401(k).
- An additional 25% Individual Benefits Account (IBA) to cover health premiums and PTO, with any unused balance paid out each January. On a $100K base, the company funds $25K into your IBA. If you use $15K on benefits and PTO, the remaining $10K (less taxes) is added to your January paycheck.
- Medical premiums 100% covered starting January 2027 for salaries under $150,000.
- Employer HSA contributions starting January 2027: $1,250 per year for single filers and $2,000 for married or family filers.
