Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description:

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. This role involves protecting our critical infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems and data.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events
• Investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain security controls and protocols
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure security compliance
• Develop and update security policies and procedures
• Provide security awareness training to staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• Strong understanding of network security and encryption
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices

Duties:

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Manage security operations center (SOC) activities
• Develop incident response plans and conduct drills
• Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other standards
• Stay current on emerging threats and security trends
