Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
Location: Washington, DC
Job Type: Full Time
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior analyst role

Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct advanced threat analysis and incident response activities
• Develop and implement security strategies to protect critical infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
• Proven experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure software development

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
