Title: Systems Engineer
Location: El Segundo, CA Salary Range: $90 - $100/hr. (Based on exp.) Introduction
The Space & Mission Systems MILSATCOM Program is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to develop our nation's next generation of satellite ground systems. This position is for those who enjoy the opportunity to work on multiple phases of ground system development programs in an agile environment. The successful candidate will be developing cutting-edge technology and will be involved in the analysis of system requirements, interface design, software system integration, and more.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Experience in verification and test of ground software Command and Control (C2) systems.
• 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in writing requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) of the ground systems.
• Experience in developing, generating, and executing the system test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Experience working in a team of systems engineers using a scaled agile development process.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify basic lifecycle balanced systems of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or software system architecture.
