Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of professional experience, or additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
DoD 8140 work role 511, Cyber Defense Analyst, with Sec+/CySA requirements
1+ year of Incident Response experience
1+ year of User Activity Monitoring (UAM) or Insider Threat Detection experience
Everfox experience is a key requirement
Experience with UAM capabilities and common insider-threat TTPs
Strong knowledge of network traffic/communications, including common ports and services
Incident handling knowledge
Experience coordinating with external organizations, particularly Law Enforcement and Counter Intelligence
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Understanding of current cybersecurity technologies and emerging capabilities
Understanding of internal/external cyber threats, attack vectors, exploitation methods, and TTPs
Knowledge of DoD security protocols and computer security principles
Windows experience plus Linux/Unix familiarity
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and/or Intelligence Driven Defense
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a TSSCI Insider Threat Analyst to sit at the Mark Center. Cybersecurity Analyst Journeyman This individual will join a DISA J-6 UAM team responsible for triaging and analyzing security alerts, identifying potential insider-threat activity, documenting investigative findings, and coordinating with impacted organizations. The analyst will also help develop and tune countermeasures against evolving adversarial TTPs while supporting program trending, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
