Summary:
• Administer and optimize enterprise Linux environments to maintain system reliability and performance
• Manage and support IBM Enterprise Storage solutions and Veritas NetBackup operations
• Execute vulnerability management, remediation, and system hardening to ensure security compliance
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $282k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems across production environments
• Manage IBM Enterprise Storage infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for backup and recovery operations
• Execute system patching and package management utilizing YUM repositories
• Conduct and remediate vulnerability scans using Nessus according to compliance standards
• Support STE/STIN processes and implement system security configurations and frameworks
• Develop automation and maintenance scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and support audits and incident response
