Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer enterprise Linux environments while maintaining high availability, performance, and security compliance.
• Oversee enterprise storage solutions and backup operations utilizing IBM Enterprise Storage and Veritas NetBackup.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, system patching, and hardening utilizing Nessus, YUM repositories, and security frameworks.
• Develop automation scripts and configuration routines using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $320k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems within an enterprise production environment.
• Manage and support IBM Enterprise Storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for enterprise backup and recovery operations.
• Perform system patching and package management using YUM repositories.
• Execute and remediate vulnerability scans using Nessus, adhering to security and compliance standards.
• Implement and maintain system security configurations, baseline hardening, and compliance controls.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and execute proactive improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, security audits, and incident response.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements.
