Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, enhance, and sustain software applications within a high-performance geospatial reporting tool suite.
• Utilize a versatile technology stack including Java, C/C++, Python, Bash, PHP, Node.js, and RESTful web services in a Linux environment.
• Support mission-critical data stores and application servers leveraging Elasticsearch, Oracle, and Apache Tomcat deployed in AWS.
• Collaborate within an Agile development workflow while providing rotating emergency call-in support.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Total Compensation: $291k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Design, develop, test, and sustain software enhancements for a high-performance geospatial collaboration repository based on priority mission needs.
• Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing multi-language codebases across modern Linux and AWS environments.
• Build, integrate, and maintain robust RESTful web services and data pipelines using Java, Python, C/C++, and Node.js.
• Manage and configure Oracle databases, Elasticsearch clusters, and Apache Tomcat web servers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, tracking requirements and technical documentation using JIRA and Confluence.
• Participate in a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support approximately one week every 4-6 weeks.
