Job Description
Task Force Talent is recruiting a senior DevOps engineer for a government contractor client. The opening is in Falls Church, Virginia.
Salary range: $185K to $230K, depending on experience level.
Full-time, hybrid: remote work combined with on-site work at customer locations in Northern Virginia, with up to 10% travel.
U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI only. An active polygraph is not required, but applicants must be willing to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph. We cannot sponsor clearances or visas.
The work
- Deploy and run microservices on Kubernetes across commercial, unclassified, CUI, and classified networks.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Kustomizations, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Diagnose and fix problems in containerized environments and Linux systems.
- Automate deployments with CI/CD, including GPU-enabled servers.

Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI and willingness to take a CI polygraph.
- 6+ years of hands-on DevOps work.
- Programming in Python, Go, or another general-purpose language.
- Kubernetes, Helm, automation and IaC, cloud infrastructure, and Linux troubleshooting.
- A plus: DoD networks and security policies (STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, ICD 503), CNCF projects, NAS and SAN, SCIF work, and disconnected or low-bandwidth environments.
