Job Description
Requirements:
- Maintain software with C# and C++ for Windows platforms.
- Develop software with C# for Linux/Unix platforms.
- Use ASP.NET to implement web frontend.
- Collaborate on system architecture and contribute internal technical documentation.
- Gather, infer, and document requirements from internal product owners and external teams.
Maintain and improve GitLab build pipeline as needed.
- Collaborate with a small development team to implement complex features and build/document shared system knowledge.
- Write SQL for database schema modification and queries.
- Write scripts in Bash (Linux/Unix; Red Hat and Debian preferred) and PowerShell (Windows).
- Code within compliance of current Information Assurance policies and instructions.
Requirements:
- Currently possess and maintain a secret Level Security Clearance
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Strong customer relations, documentation, and oral communication skills Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality
- A passion for learning about, and working in the IT industry
- BS Degree in Computer Science or similar
- 5+ years of C# software development experience
- Ability to secure a CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent
Preferred:
- 3+ years’ experience with Linux (Red Hat preferred)
- Experience with static analyzers, such as Fortify, is a plus Experience in a software development methodology (e.g., Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps) environment is a strong plus
- Experience with containerized applications is a strong plus
- Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies
- Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
