Systems Engineer

The Scientific Analysis Operation is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our government customers' Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) capabilities. MBSE is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Warfare (DoW) and Intelligence Communities. As a member of our engineering team, you will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation's defense.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field
• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles / approaches to complex problems
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Experience developing and managing verification and validation (V&V) plans and procedures
• Ability to support interface management activities, ensuring clear definition, communication, and maintenance of interfaces across engineering teams
• Knowledge of MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Systems Engineering domain

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices
