Position Secret Windows Systems Administrator
Company Bowhead
Type 6 month contract to hire, you will convert perm after 6 months
Location Hybrid in Dahlgren, VA (4 days onsite, 1 remote)
Pay Rate $30-$41/hour ($80,000 conversion sal)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years of professional IT / Systems Administration experience
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
• Active IAT Level II certification • Strong Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and network issues
• Proficiency with ACAS and ability to complete DISA ACAS training
• Experience with Windows Active Directory, LAN/WAN environments, and Microsoft 365
• Experience with software installs, system upgrades, patching, and IAV remediation
• Working knowledge of STIGs, RMF, and DoD security/accreditation processes
• Experience supporting end-user hardware, including PCs, printers, scanners, and CACs
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/change-management tools
• High School Diploma
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Experience working with an ISSO on system accreditation

Insight Global is seeking a Secret Windows Systems Administrator to support a federal program in Dahlgren, VA. This individual will provide Windows 11 systems administration and end-user support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while supporting system upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and security requirements. Candidates must have 3+ years of professional IT experience, an active IAT Level II certification, and an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. The pay for this role ranges from $30-$41/hour, based on experience.
