Systems Engineer

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a motivated System Engineer with experience across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept through sustainment. The ideal candidate brings strong system administration and GOTS product experience, is eager to learn, and is ready to work on a small, mission-focused team that frequently interacts with other teams, users, and customers.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation and sustainment
• Produce documentation and drawing packages as required
• Install, configure, and manage Linux systems (Red Hat/CentOS/Rocky), including authentication and authorization through FreeIPA and Active Directory
• Install and maintain GOTS software products
• Test and troubleshoot systems and software to resolve issues and ensure reliable operations
• Create, read, and modify Bash and Python scripts to support system administration and engineering tasks
• Collaborate with other teams, users, and customers to meet mission requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, with at least six (6) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Experience working all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept to sustainment, including producing documentation and drawing packages.
• Strong system administration experience.
• Strong Linux (Red Hat/CentOS/Rocky) experience, including installation, configuration, management, and authentication/authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory).
• Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong GOTS software experience, including installation and maintenance.
• Ability to create, read, and modify scripts (Bash/Python).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with shared storage solutions.
• Virtualization and containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Data flow experience.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Salt.
• Familiarity with Helm charts and YAML files.
• DevOps experience.

Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret clearance with a Polygraph
