Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Provide senior-level Linux systems administration and DevOps support across multi-classification operational environments.
• Maintain and sustain physical and virtual Linux and Windows infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.
• Implement security hardening, storage management, and virtualization across complex backend systems.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 15+ years
• Total Compensation: $241k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows physical hardware and virtual machines across multiple classification levels.
• Perform system hardening and security compliance work adhering to STE/STN and DISA STIG standards.
• Configure and manage enterprise storage platforms including CFS, DFS, and NetApp.
• Deploy, monitor, and sustain virtualization environments utilizing platforms such as Proxmox, Red Hat KVM, and VMware.
• Support core network infrastructure, firewalls, user authentication, DNS, shared drives, and directory services.
• Build and maintain automation and configuration management solutions using Ansible and Salt.
• Develop automated scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl to optimize operational workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and administration teams to resolve issues and track tasks in JIRA.
