Job Description:
• Develops block diagrams, logic flow charts, and other software engineering documentation as necessary, to achieve software design objectives.
• Translates detailed design into new computer software.
• Tests, debugs, and refines existing custom computer software.
• Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
• Designs and maintains applications in support of system design requirements. Prepares both program level and user- level documentation.
Job Requirements:
• Current experience as an applications programmer on computer and database management systems.
• Experience analyzing functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities is necessary.
• Proven experience in designing and developing software and using databases to satisfy design objectives.
• Recent experience of programming in the .Net programming language on Linux or windows OS is a plus.
• Recent experience of programming for web applications utilizing JavaScript is a plus.
• Recent experience with no SQL database such as MongoDB, is a plus.
• Recent development experience in Java on Linux or windows OS is desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile software development techniques such as scrum, is required
• Senior or SME levels must have recent leadership experience
Education:
• BS degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; plus 12 years of experience
