Summary:
• Perform advanced cyber threat hunting, data science analysis, and requirements gathering on enterprise big data platforms.
• Leverage defensive cyber operations and machine learning methodologies to identify threats and automate response capabilities.
• Translate complex data patterns into actionable intelligence and intuitive visual dashboards for operational stakeholders.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct cyber threat hunt operations across assigned big data platform environments and report findings to key stakeholders.
• Convert cyber defense tools, techniques, and procedures into automated platform capabilities.
• Perform operational research, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data modeling using Python, SQL, and KQL.
• Create and present interactive dashboards and customer-facing visualizations utilizing tools such as Power-BI and Superset.
• Collaborate with operational teams to capture mission requirements, develop use cases, and deliver end-user system training.
• Maintain situational awareness of emerging cyber threats and develop detection signatures using SIGMA, Yara, and SNORT.
• Perform network traffic and log analysis using tools such as Wireshark, Zeek, TCP-DUMP, and enterprise SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Analyze, validate, and enrich structured and unstructured data feeds across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
