Senior Data Scientist

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support advanced analytics and data-driven intelligence initiatives in a mission-focused environment. This individual will work with large, complex datasets to develop scalable analytics solutions, automate existing workflows, and turn raw information into actionable insights for mission stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings strong Python development experience, intelligence community exposure, data visualization expertise, and a background building repeatable analytics solutions. This position will work closely with analysts, engineers, and other technical teams to solve complex problems and improve how data is used across intelligence operations.

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop advanced analytics solutions that uncover trends, patterns, relationships, and actionable insights across complex datasets.
-Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and automated analytical workflows.
-Use Python to develop production-quality applications, automation tools, and reusable analytics capabilities.
-Partner directly with intelligence analysts and mission stakeholders to understand requirements and translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
-Build dashboards, visualizations, and other data products that clearly communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Automate manual or repetitive processes to improve the speed, consistency, and efficiency of analytical workflows.
-Rapidly prototype and implement new solutions in response to evolving mission and customer requirements.
-Manage multiple technical projects and priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
-Apply modern data science and statistical techniques to solve complex intelligence problems.
-Help establish scalable, maintainable approaches that support broader data modernization efforts.
-Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams throughout the Intelligence Community.

Required Qualifications:
-Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
-Experience supporting intelligence missions through data science, advanced analytics, or intelligence analysis.
-Advanced proficiency with Python, including experience developing production-ready analytical tools and automation solutions.
-Experience working with large, complex datasets and developing processes to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and relationships.
-Hands-on experience building data models, automated workflows, and repeatable analytical processes.
-Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and analytical data products used to support operational decision-making.
-Strong foundation in data analysis, statistical methods, and data-driven problem solving.
-Ability to independently manage multiple projects and technical priorities with limited oversight.
-Experience working with commonly used Intelligence Community data repositories and environments.
-Familiarity with geospatial analytics, GEOINT workflows, and/or multi-INT analysis.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences.
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate with analysts, engineers, technical teams, and mission stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with additional programming languages or low-code/no-code analytics platforms, including tools such as JEMA, Brewlytics, or ArcGIS ModelBuilder.
-Experience designing enterprise dashboards and visualization solutions using modern business intelligence platforms.
-Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques used to solve complex analytical or intelligence problems.
-Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
-Experience mentoring junior technical professionals or helping lead data and technology modernization efforts.
-Understanding of DevSecOps principles and modern software development practices.
