Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and security operations. This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events across multiple platforms and systems.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on cybersecurity matters.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations and incident response.
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
