Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale Hadoop and cloud computing clusters.
• Design and optimize AWS cloud architectures while integrating LLM, Agentic AI, and RAG capabilities.
• Automate system provisioning and manage enterprise Linux environments using scripting and configuration management tools.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Provide end-to-end administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for large distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across distributed data stores including Hadoop, Accumulo, Cassandra, and object stores.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Perl to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage Linux operating system components including LDAP account administration, DNS, DHCP, and TFTP.
• Implement and maintain system configurations using Puppet and Salt configuration management tools.
• Execute bare-metal provisioning and network installations using PXE, Kickstart configurations, and RAID utilities.
• Perform remote hardware diagnostics and BIOS-level configurations via IPMI, VNC, and serial over LAN.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration services utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to adhere to security best practices and streamline deployment pipelines.
