• Direct and coordinate engineering teams responsible for acquiring, configuring, building, integrating, installing, testing, and sustaining hardware and software at government facilities.
• Develop computing solutions for emerging operational requirements, evaluating small-form-factor computers, mobile servers, workstations, ruggedized systems, and edge computing platforms.
• Design and update IT and hardware architectures to support new implementations, field changes, technology refreshes, upgrades, replacements, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Manage engineering schedules, technical tasks, dependencies, equipment acquisition, and integration milestones to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Maintain equipment inventories, hardware accountability, configuration records, deployment information, lifecycle status, and technology replacement plans.
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including hardware designs, system configurations, bills of material, technical specifications, installation procedures, and maintenance documentation.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance to engineers, integration teams, program stakeholders, and operational personnel.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, infrastructure, and system integration issues.
