The successful candidate will support CBRN/CWMD readiness, training, exercises, operational planning, and response capabilities while serving as a key on-site interface between GTech personnel and NGB leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior on-site GTech representative supporting assigned NGB CBRN/CWMD mission activities.

  • Support the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of WMD-Civil Support Team (WMD-CST), Homeland Response Force (HRF), and CBRN Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) activities.

  • Coordinate with NGB leadership, program personnel, National Guard organizations, and other mission partners to address operational requirements and priorities.

  • Assist with the integration and synchronization of CBRN/CWMD capabilities across exercises, training events, and domestic-response activities.

  • Monitor program activities, personnel requirements, schedules, priorities, risks, and emerging issues and communicate them to appropriate GTech and NGB leadership.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination for GTech personnel supporting assigned mission activities while ensuring expectations, schedules, and deliverables are understood.

  • Support exercise planning, execution, evaluation, after-action reviews, lessons learned, and development of recommendations to improve operational readiness.

  • Develop and review briefings, reports, assessments, plans, operational products, and senior-leader decision-support materials.

  • Evaluate CBRN/CWMD readiness, capability gaps, training requirements, and operational challenges and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Coordinate support for real-world incidents, exercises, special events, and other mission requirements as directed.

  • Support workforce coordination, onboarding, performance, and communication in collaboration with GTech program leadership.

  • Maintain effective relationships with Government stakeholders and promptly identify and elevate staffing, performance, schedule, or mission risks.

  • Travel as required to support exercises, assessments, training events, and other CBRN/CWMD mission activities.

Required Skills

  • Extensive professional or military experience supporting CBRN and/or CWMD operations, planning, readiness, training, exercises, or response missions.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting CBRN response organizations, consequence management, emergency response, or comparable domestic-response capabilities.

  • Experience providing leadership or oversight to personnel supporting complex Federal or DoD mission requirements.

  • Strong understanding of military operational planning, readiness, training, exercises, and command relationships.

  • Experience developing and presenting operational assessments, briefings, reports, plans, and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple military, Federal, state, local, or interagency stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting exercises and real-world mission requirements.

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently based on mission requirements.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience supporting the National Guard Bureau, National Guard, or TARC.

  • Direct experience with WMD-CST, HRF, and/or CERFP organizations and capabilities.

  • Experience supporting NGB domestic operations, DSCA, CBRN consequence management, or CWMD programs.

  • Experience leading personnel in an on-site Federal or DoD environment.

  • Experience supporting major exercises, emergency-response events, or interagency operations.

  • Familiarity with National Guard readiness, training, operational reporting, and exercise evaluation processes.
