Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role requires deep expertise in cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and implementations to support critical national security programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate cryptographic solutions for complex systems
• Provide technical guidance and oversight on cryptographic implementations
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic technologies
• Stay current with emerging threats and cryptographic standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptography and security
• In-depth knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms
• Experience with cryptographic protocols (TLS, IPsec, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cryptographic implementations in software and hardware
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NSA Suite B/C cryptographic algorithms
• Knowledge of cryptographic libraries and frameworks (OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, etc.)
• Background in secure coding practices and threat modeling

Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this position.
