Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role requires deep expertise in cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and implementations to support critical national security programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate cryptographic solutions for complex systems
• Provide technical guidance and oversight on cryptographic implementations
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic technologies
• Stay current with emerging threats and cryptographic standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptography and security
• Expert knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms
• Experience with cryptographic protocols (TLS, IPsec, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cryptographic standards (NIST, ISO, etc.)
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with quantum-resistant cryptography
• Knowledge of hardware security modules (HSMs)
• Background in cryptographic research or academia

Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory for this position.
