Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role requires deep expertise in cryptographic systems, protocols, and implementations to support critical national security programs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate cryptographic algorithms and protocols
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Develop and maintain cryptographic standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions
• Stay current with emerging threats and advancements in cryptography

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptography and security
• In-depth knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic systems
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and implementations (e.g., OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle)
• Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols (TLS, IPsec, etc.)
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cryptographic hardware (HSMs, TPMs)
• Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography
• Experience with secure coding practices
• Familiarity with NIST standards and guidelines
