Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role requires deep expertise in cryptographic systems, protocols, and implementations to support critical national security programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions for complex systems
• Provide technical guidance and oversight on cryptographic design and implementation
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of cryptographic systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions
• Stay current with emerging cryptographic technologies and standards
• Provide expert testimony and technical support for legal and regulatory matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cryptography and information security
• Expert knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms
• Experience with cryptographic protocols (e.g., TLS, IPsec, SSH)
• Understanding of cryptographic implementations in software and hardware
• Strong mathematical background with focus on number theory and algebra
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with post-quantum cryptography
• Knowledge of cryptographic standards (FIPS, NSA, ISO)
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and frameworks
• Background in cryptographic research and development

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory for this position.
