Help shape the next generation of aerospace systems.

Are you an aerospace or mechanical engineer with hands-on experience in mass properties analysis, modeling, and aircraft weighing? This opportunity is for an experienced engineer who can lead mass properties calculations and analysis for complex aerospace systems, support aircraft inventory and weighing, and provide technical guidance to other engineers.

What You'll Do

Lead mass properties calculations and analysis for advanced aerospace systems.

Develop and validate mass properties models and simulations.

Inventory and weigh aircraft to support weight control and engineering requirements.

Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Apply engineering principles and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to support design, analysis, and testing.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Typically 6+ years of relevant engineering experience. An advanced degree may be considered in place of some experience.

Experience with mass properties calculations, analysis, modeling, and simulation.

Experience with aircraft inventory and weighing.

General knowledge of engineering principles and computer-aided engineering tools.

Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary design and development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience in the aerospace and defense industry, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military.

Knowledge of parametric design, model-based definition, and flight mechanics.

Understanding of aerospace design and engineering principles.

Who Should Apply?

Experienced aerospace and mechanical engineers with a background in aircraft weight control, mass properties engineering, and aerospace system analysis. Candidates with experience supporting aircraft programs, military aviation, or advanced aerospace development are encouraged to apply.
