Description:
This position is for a Cryptography Subject Matter Expert to support critical national security programs. The individual will provide technical expertise in cryptographic systems, algorithms, and protocols to ensure the security of sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cryptographic solutions for various systems and applications
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of cryptographic implementations
• Provide technical guidance and training to development teams on cryptographic best practices
• Review and evaluate cryptographic standards and protocols for compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into system designs
• Stay current with emerging threats and advancements in cryptography

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cryptography and information security
• In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, TLS)
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools (e.g., OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle)
• Strong understanding of cryptographic key management and certificate systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with quantum cryptography and post-quantum algorithms
• Knowledge of hardware security modules (HSMs) and secure enclaves
• Familiarity with cloud security and cryptographic solutions in cloud environments
• Experience with formal verification and cryptographic proofs

Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this position.
