The United States Space Force (USSF) is searching for a JAM Enterprise Program Management Specialist to support SYD 85/BNA (NH-1101-04, GS 14/15 equivalent).
Position may be filled at either Los Angeles Space Force Base or Peterson Space Force Base Colorado Springs.
Description:
The United States Space Systems Command (SSC) is searching for a well-qualified candidate to fill the JAM Enterprise Program Management Specialist position to support SYD 85/ BNA. Come join our amazing team who helps to ensure there is never a day without space!
Serves as the senior programmatic leader for the Joint Antenna Marketplace (JAM) software enterprise. This position directs the program's critical transition from an initial unclassified research prototype into a full-scale, multi-level classified production system. The Program Manager is responsible for balancing concurrent, highly complex workstreams, which include fielding highly classified (TS//SAP//SCI) network components, sustaining aging legacy infrastructure to ensure zero drop in operations, and incubating advanced technologies for future deployment. Furthermore, this role assumes critical supervisory and enterprise coordination duties, structuring and leading the branch workforce responsible for mission partner intake while ensuring program execution tightly aligns with the strategic priorities of major Space Force operational commands. This position requires strategic decision support, analytical skills, time management and good communication (oral and written) skills.
Ideal Candidate:
Desired Skills/Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Program Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Direct experience managing complex IT, SATCOM, space systems, or enterprise software portfolios.
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and structure a multidisciplinary civilian, military, and contractor workforce
- The candidate should have significant experience in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
Position Responsibilities:
- Direct the transition of the software development pathway from planning and prototyping into full enterprise execution, managing primary production contracts and overseeing the integration of unclassified, classified, and commercial users into a unified baseline.
- Manage the development, fielding, and integration of highly classified network components, navigating the programmatic complexities of on-premise hardware deployments, secure multi-level data transfers, and specialized cryptographic requirements.
- Oversee concurrent, enterprise-level initiatives outside the main software baseline, including the extension of legacy bridging contracts to ensure uninterrupted military operations and the management of rapid prototyping vehicles to mature new technologies.
- Supervise branch personnel executing the enterprise intake and engagement process, structuring the workforce to efficiently guide new government and commercial partners through complex technical and regulatory alignment.
- Facilitate high-level coordination across multiple Space Force commands, ensuring software deployments deliver a real-time Common Operating Picture (COP) for military satellite operators to deconflict schedules and manage signal interference.
