Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Application Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using modern technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate user-facing applications with server-side logic and databases.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Implement robust security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON data interchange.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.

Clearance Requirement:

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance.
