Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Application Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable web applications, with expertise in modern front-end and back-end technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and testable code for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate user-facing applications with server-side logic and databases.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Implement data security and data protection settings.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Clearance Requirement:

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
