TSSCI DevOps Engineer

An employer in the Dayton, Ohio area is seeking a TS/SCI DevOps Engineer. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure cloud-based container platforms that support mission-critical applications. They will automate software deployments, testing, monitoring, and release processes using DevOps and DevSecOps best practices while troubleshooting and resolving CI/CD pipeline issues to improve system reliability and performance. The engineer will work closely with software development teams to implement cloud-native solutions and support applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring container environments remain secure, compliant, and scalable. This position requires working onsite three days per week and maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelors Degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of DevOps or DevSecOps experience in automated software delivery environments.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Background working with enterprise cloud technologies and cloud-native applications.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized solutions.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud technologies and container platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins).
• Strong background in automation and software delivery processes.
• Experience supporting containerized application deployments.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across cloud-based environments and supporting tools.

Salary expectations depending on skills and experience: $120,000-$145,000
